The practice was formed in 1985 in Ilford, Essex by Alan
Deighan. Alan was joined by Kevin Perkins in 2003. We have grown steadily to become a major
independent accounting & taxation practice with vast
experience in advising businesses in many sectors.
The partners at Deighan Perkins have
over 50 years of experience in the profession and are
committed to remaining independent as we strongly believe
this allows us to service your needs in the most effective
and personable manner.
As part of our continuing development we have gained authorisation
to train the next generation of Chartered and Certified
Accountants.
Alan Deighan B.Sc (Econ), A.C.A
Alan was born locally
and went to school in East Ham. He obtained a degree in
Economics at Cardiff Univrsity, and trained as a Chartered
Accountant with a large city firm qualifying in 1982.
Since 1985 Alan has been developing the practice which
now has a wide range of clients including the leisure
industry, property developers and construction.
Alan is married with 5 daughters and lives in Romford.
He enjoys playing cricket and golf and enjoys watching
rugby and football.

Kevin Perkins F.C.A, C.T.A
Kevin was born and schooled in Ilford. He has
worked locally in general practice for over 25 years having
qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1987, becoming
a Fellow of the Institute in 1998. He also qualified as
a Chartered Tax Adviser in 1990.
Kevin has a wide portfolio of clients ranging from high
net wealth individuals, charities and trusts to limited
companies, with a particular emphasis on all aspects of
their tax affairs.
He is married with a son and daughter and lives in the
Brentwood area of Essex.
In his spare time Kevin belongs to a gym, enjoys both
playing and watching football and takes part in various
runs for charity.
